Dan Endom Appointed as USO Southeast Region Advisory Board Member, Chair of Recently Formed USO Fort Campbell-Nashville Advisory Board
Dan Endom was recently named the chair of the newly formed USO Fort Campbell-Nashville Advisory Board, and subsequently is the newest member of the USO Southeast Region Advisory Board.
Endom is currently the President of iHeartMedia Markets Group-Nashville and has held numerous leadership roles with iHeartMedia and the radio industry for over the past two decades.
“It is truly a great honor to be part of something that is so important to the country I love,” said Endom. “I believe that supporting our fighting men and women, and their families is truly a righteous cause. They make the sacrifice, and we must give back.”
In his new role as a USO Advisory Board Member, Endom will work with both USO Southeast Region and USO Fort Campbell-Nashville leadership and staff to increase the awareness and understanding of the USO across Tennessee, Kentucky and throughout the southeastern, U.S.
“We are truly excited to welcome Dan to the USO Fort Campbell-Nashville Advisory Board,” said Ann Jarvis, Executive Director, USO Fort Campbell-Nashville. “His wonderful personality and energy are contagious, and he has great ties to the local community which will help us bring awareness of the USO to the Nashville area, and throughout the region.”
Endom will also focus on networking with other local business leaders in various industries to educate them on the value of the USO and the positive impact our organization has on the wellbeing of our military communities. Additionally, he will help to increase year-over-year donations and fund development goals for the USO, to better support the needs of service members and their families.
“Dan stepped up within 24 hours of a Fort Campbell news story, offering assistance and support before we even requested it,” said Lisa Marie Riggins, Regional President, USO Southeast. “He delivered relief and comfort to security forces who didn’t realize how much they needed it. That’s who Dan is. We are so grateful to have his time and talent.”
The USO Southeast Region currently encompasses the following 11 states and district: Ala., Fla., Ga., Ky., La., Md., Miss., N.C., S.C., Tenn., Va., and Washington, D.C., supporting over 1.7 million service members and their families, with Tenn., and Ky., being home to roughly 67,000 military personnel and their families, as reported by the 2021 Demographics Report: Profile of the Military Community data.
Since 1941, the USO has been the nation’s leading organization to serve the men and women in the U.S. military, and their families, throughout their time in uniform. From the moment they join, through their assignments and deployments, and as they transition back to their communities, the USO is always by their side.
